HISTORY:
Very sad to see yet another very nice old English Garrard turntable become an 'organ donor' but at least this component may have a use to another Garrard enthusiast/restorer out there somewhere!
Ex the Laboratory Series 60 MKII
While the turntable was a nicely engineering machine, oh dear those plastic bits and pieces (tonearm rest etc) just didn't last the years and I have decided to make this machine an "organ donor"
So, let's get on with describing the spare part I am offering here - remember, I am offering 'organs' from the turntable, the 60 MKII is now a 'non-turntable' as I have carefully and completely dismantled it!
NOTE: Keep in mind that many Garrard turntable parts from this era are interchangeable with other Garrard models - PLEASE CHECK YOUR SERVICE MANUAL TO ESTABLISH THE SUITABILITY OF THIS PART TO YOUR OWN TURNTABLE.
GARRARD 60 MKII TURNTABLE - Transport Bolts with underside clips ONLY
These two bolts allow the user to fully lock the turntable while it is being transported, the bolts screw into threaded holes in the turntable chassis and an underside clip keeps everything locked in place. This is not part of the suspension system.
BOLT DIMENSIONS:
Total length: 43.5mm
Thread length: 22.5mm
Thread diameter: 5.8mm
Topside head of the bolt (the part that can be viewed from above the turntable) is a knurled slot type
Specially tooled bolt end which fits into the steel spring underneath

CLEAN
Undamaged bolt(s) and clip(s)
Now packed into a sealed clear plastic packet awaiting a new turntable to live in
