HISTORY:
My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items.
While the world of 8mm/Super 8mm is not my area of expertise, I am doing my best to establish the condition of each item that I am listing.

PRISON TRAIN (1938)
American crime, thriller drama about a crime gang's attempts to kill a rival on board a train going to Alcatraz
Housed in a reasonably sturdy cardboard box, top opening lid. Inside this box are 4x 7" (400' x 4 = approximately 1.5 hours run time)
Leader film fitted on each reel
7" 400' PLiO MAGIC Grey plastic reels (4)
Each reel has a simple film clip fitted so that the leader doesn't come loose

Film stock and the four reels all appear to be undamaged
The cardboard box containing the reels is a little "sad for wear" but still does its job of keeping everything together. The box is relatively clean, but to ensure the film is protected as much as possible, after my test viewing of this full length feature motion picture I have placed each reel into separate sealed clear plastic packets within the box.
No unusual smells detected coming off the film i.e no vinegar smells although the whole package has that "Hey, I'm old!" odour to it - I have cleaned and sterilised (Iso Alcohol spray) the outer cardboard box as much as possible NOT the reels of film!
The cardboard box has some identification about the contents and each reel has also been identified by hand.
NO personal names or other writing on the case or the film reels
TESTING:
Test projector is the ELMO 1200 that I have on hand at the moment.
Film looks to be clean and in good condition, sprocket holes are not damaged.
I only ran the film for the first couple of minutes of each reel observe the picture and sound.
Picture definition is fine (monochrome) with no scratching or degradation noticed
Sound is good, crisp and easy to understand dialogue which is not muffled
In my opinion, after this very brief test, I am happy that the film is as stated on the box and looks to be in reasonable "technical" condition.
Anyway, I am very fastidious and careful with these films and I have now packed it back into the original cardboard box AND sealed each reel within clear plastic, inserted into the box and then provided an outer clear plastic seal as well - waiting for a new Super 8 film enthusiasts home to live in and be enjoyed!
