While my wife has always enjoyed using and collecting "Doulton", my how things have changed over the years! This young child's drinking cup is an example of what happened to Royal Doulton, now part of Fiskars (Finland) along with other distinguised English names such as Waterford, Wedgwood, Royal Albert and others ... sad!
Collectively the holding company is called WWRD, HERE is some background to them
Tree Toys (Registered trademark) is a company based in Taiwan who undertake product development for Fiskars amongst others. If you wanted to see just how much product they shipped to USA on behalf of WWRD, take a look HERE and be amazed!
ROYAL DOULTON - Young Child's Drinking Cup
Circa 2000's
Material: Melamine
Semi-translucent, if you hold the cup to the light you can faintly see your fingers through the plastic.
Bunnykins ABC Series created by Tree Toys ®
Young Child's Drinking Cup (Lidded)
Design: Unisex - the bunnies depicted are a mix of boy and girl rabbits in various clothing and alphabet blocks A ~ C around the sides in three distinct areas. The top lid is plain fire-engine Red.
Traditional Bunnykins "running rabbit" around the side of the cup.
Cream background
Transfer ware decorated
Measures: 50mm diameter x 85mm height (add a further 30mm if the lid is included)
Comfortably holds just 125mL of liquid ... that is a small drink, just 1/3 a normal can of Coke (not that you would give a child Coke)
As this small cup is intended for use by a child who hasn't yet "got the grasp" of drinking from the lip of a cup, it has a lid and the lid is a VERY tight fit - even tricky for an adult to open!
IMPRESSED BACKSTAMP DETAILS:
See the rear photograph but if difficult to read ...
Do not use in microwave (downwards curving arch)

COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED (Barely)
My wife once collected "Bunnykins" melamine and she has decided that "era" has passed. She seems to recall this came in a gift box originally but did not keep the box. She is pretty sure no child (or adult for that matter!) has taken a drink from this cup. It has been washed and sterilised anyway.
CLEAN
NO damage to the melamine at all
NO damage to any of the graphic transferware
NO hideous marks or scratches
This small drinking cup is now within sealed clear plastic to maintain the condition while it waits for a new home to live in
