ALPHA - Rotary Potentiometer
Country of origin is probably Taiwan
SPECIAL POT ALERT!
This is a single gang pot BUT it has two differences to other pots.
1) It has an internal disc which provides a positive "click" feel to the user as the shaft is rotated (found on the "better" amplifiers, we had these as spare parts for Eden, USA audio equipment), the click action provides nice tactile feedback when rotating the knob
2) W taper, this a log taper but it behaves as a reverse log up to the midpoint, then regular log after that point.
Body of the potentiometer has ALPHA stamped into it and their logo
Topside the potentiometer is identified as W100K

* The washer is NOT new - these pots were supplied with the hardware separate from the pot but I have had trouble locating this hardware, instead I am supplying a used washer (clean of course) but the nut is new.
Note that there is NO "Locating tab" to secure the pot in position, this is left solely to the lock washer and nut.

The action of the clicking does not require undue additional rotational force and provides a nice gentle "click - click - click" as the shaft is rotated, in fact I count 49 click points as the shaft is fully rotated from one end of the track to the other end.
This pot has always been stored in a sealed clear plastic packet and will be supplied the same way
