Cover is in very good condition, no seam splits, no personal writing and practically no edgewear from handling. I never ever use the word "excellent" or "mint" unless the release is sealed and unopened from the pressing/packaging plant but I have to say that this is one pristine cover!
Original lined sleeve remains in very good condition so I have not changed this sleeve
Vinyl is in very good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light and I can see no scratches or marks on either side. Just taking a look at the vinyl doesn't cut it so I then played the ENTIRE album, every single track, there while there are no issues with surface noise on either side, I was surprised to here just 3~4 revolutions on Side 2 during the run-in, a low level "click" I am actually thinking this was "dirt in da groove" as the click was a bit strange - first Left then Right Then Left again. I looked closely at the vinyl but could not see the cause of this little click event. No issues with the remainder of Side 2.
A real blast from the past, just slightly too early for me as I was just 11 years old in 1966 but I do remember the Yellow Submarine movie coming out and the older boys were all going to the shop to get these "head masks" so they looked like one of the Beatles. I just thought (at the time) it was all just a bit weird for me!
