A bit cheeky for Majestic to state "Original Artists" as a number of these songs were originally released by other bands, the track on this album being also commercially released but not by the original band e.g Yellow River by Christie but on this album it is performed by Autumn, an Australian band of the day. It would have been more realistic (but not good for marketing) to say "Original Cover Songs"
Some unexpected little gems on this compilation, such as "In The Summertime" which is a cover of Mungo Jerry's song by Idle Race. Idle Race were a very popular British band in the late 1960's ~ '70s and a member of which was Jeff Lynne prior to the forming of ELO and then there is Autumn, how long has it been since I heard anyone mention that band from Australia!

Cover is in good (minus) condition, no tears, no seam splits, clean HOWEVER the rear of the cover in particular looks very "tired", as we all do after 55 years of being handled! Although cleaned, the rear looks a bit grubby and there is some White Out up near the top right hand corner.
New inner plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in good (minus) condition, visually inspected under a bright White halogen light source and I can see a few very light ~ light scratches or marks on either side. I then played the album ENTIRELY and surface noise is, overall, not a significant issue although there are some tracks in which the noise (clicks/pops) becomes more noticeable. These are ...
SIDE 1:
Between track 1 ending and track 2 beginning (the intertrack silent gap) there is a THUMP but no mistrack.
Track 3 (Spill The Wine) is a little noisy, although I still enjoyed hearing this great song from The Animals from my youthful days.
Track 4 & 5 some light clicks or pops, some due to scratches (repeating) and others just a single pop (probably dirt in the groove)
Track 8 the song runs fine until there is a sudden (and very short) thump and a very short mistrack, just part of a word is missed, then the song continues on it's merry way.
No further surface noise issues were heard until right at the end of the last track (Hi-De-Ho) where there are a few low level clicks (a scratch) very near the runout.
SIDE 2:
Track 2 has just a few low level clicks at times
The remaining tracks on this side are pretty good, no significant surface noise issues
I have cleaned this album in my VPI machine at least four separate times and each time it improves over the last time, these grooves were REALLY dirty originally.
Overall though, a nice CLASSIC pop rock album from the early '70s - loved hearing Eric Burdon & War, Jimmy Cliff and the great Joe Cocker do their stuff!
