At just 27, Janis tragically passed away on 4th October 1970
This album was released just after her passing ... love the banter with the audience throughout the live performances

Gatefold cover is in very good condition, no personal writing, light edgeware from normal handling, no seam splits and no tears.
New inner plastic sleeve
Vinyl is also in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright White halogen light source and I can only see a couple of very light marks on both records and a bit of dust on each side, it has been a long time since Janis has taken a spin on the turntable! I gave both records a good cleanup with the VPI and now they look much better. Just looking at your discs of Black plastic isn't a very good method of judging the condition so I then played the ENTIRE double album, every single track on both records, and there were no issues at all with surface noise nor click/pops although at times I could hear the occasional single "pop" which indicates more cleaning would be a good idea. Gave both records another clean and now very nice playback from Janis - love her laugh - a bit of wildness in this gal! Another great loss to the music industry (and her friends of course)
New outer protective sleeve
