The buyer must establish beforehand that this remote suits their own Samsung equipment.
How?
Try looking in the user manual, if you have one.
If the manual is not available, try to see if the remote button layout looks "right" compared to the old remote - a bit hit & miss though.
Fortunately Samsung codes are fairly consistent and even if not the correct remote for your Samsung equipment, often the basic functions may still work on your own older Samsung equipment i.e on-off, play etc
SAMSUNG - TV/VCR/DVD/STB Remote Control
USED
InfraRed Remote control
Genuine Samsung product NOT a copy
Part number: 00015P
Remote only
Controls a Samsung Television, DVD/VCR Combo and Set Top Box. I think the unit we had was a SV-DVD7400 and I also believe this remote may suit use with the SV-DVD54T as well ... here is a general photograph of what the equipment may look like
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
CLEAN
NO serious scratches, cracks or other surface damage
ALL button labelling is unworn and easy to read
The battery compartment is clean and undamaged (no rust or corrosion due to leaking batteries!), this uses 2x AAA batteries
TESTING:
Being a used remote, I check any remote to the best of my ability
My testing method is to insert batteries and "look" (using my security camera's) for the IR emissions from the remote control and ensuring every single button sends out an IR code. I must assume though that the codes being sent are correct, I no longer have compatible Samsung equipment any longer (we used this with a Samsung DVD-VCR combo machine which "died" and went to heaven) unfortunately.
ALL buttons on this remote are functioning great when tested one by one
Stored/supplied in a sealed plastic packet to maintain its current condition
Batteries will NOT be supplied (2x AAA batteries) to prevent any issues with Australia Post (they are very risk adverse to shipping packages with batteries inside) and also this keeps the shipping weight down to a minimum
