The buyer must establish before purchasing that this remote suits their own LG television equipment

How?

Try looking in the user manual, if you have one.

If the manual is not available, try to see if the remote button layout looks "right" compared to your old remote - a bit hit & miss though, particularly difficult if the old remote is missing!

Please be aware that generally every single remote sends a unique code to the equipment under control, just because you may have an old LG Television/VCR combo, this does not mean this remote will control them.

VCR combo? Like I have said in the title, this remote is designed to control some very old (retro) equipment!

LG - Remote Control ONLY

Retro (around 2010 release date)

According to information gleaned online, this remote is designed to control the LG television models CA-14F60X, CA-14F80, CA-20F80, CA-21F80 & CA-21M60X and possibly other models (for the user to determine) If you have a contemporary LG television, it is extremely unlikely this remote will work with it - this remote was released approximately 15 years ago!

Push down door reveals hidden controls for the VCR and Teletext (see one of the photographs)

USED IR Remote control

Genuine original LG product NOT a 3rd party copy

Part number: 6710V00020F

Remote only

COSMETIC CONDITION:

USED

CLEAN

NO significant scratches, cracks or other surface damage

ALL buttons are unworn and easy to read

Battery compartment clean and undamaged (no rust or corrosion due to leaking batteries!), this uses two AA size batteries (very commonly available). Unusually, the batteries are loaded up in the top (IR emitter) end of the remote, this makes the remote a little "top heavy)

TESTING:

Being a used remote, I check any remote to the best of my ability

My testing method is to insert batteries and "look" (using my security camera's) for the IR emissions from the remote control and ensuring every single button sends out an IR code. I must assume though that the codes being sent are correct.

ALL buttons on this remote are functioning great (and there is a lot of them!)

So this all means that I am satisifed the remote is working fine.

Stored and will be supplied in a sealed plastic packet to maintain its current condition

Batteries will NOT be supplied (2x AA batteries) to prevent any issues with Australia Post (they are very risk adverse to shipping packages with batteries inside) and also this keeps the shipping weight down to a minimum

USED Exactly as described
