If you are really serious about your electronics, whether you are a professional or hobbyist, a good library of electronic magazines is a must have.
Why are these magazines a 'must-have'?
Wealth of design and concept ideas
Interesting news in the world of electronics, although "old news"
Keeping up to date (or looking backwards at how things used to be done)
Circuit design concepts (see the approaches that others have used to create a new design or solve a problem)
Projects to build, just for fun
Nostalgic advertisements! Oh my, lots of these - some of the gear is now so dated or the companies themselves have disappeared into the "mists of time"
ELEKTOR ELECTRONICS (UK) is a monthly magazine that often had excellent articles and design ideas, projects to build. Used to set the bank back a bit though, these were all imported and cost a small fortune at the local newsagents (when they finally arrived!)
ELEKTOR ELECTRONICS (UK) - 1997
Month: May
Please see photograph 2 for the contents of this issue
CLEAN
Front cover and rear cover are in very good condition
The spine has seen some wear n tear, still secure but well used over the years
ALL pages are accounted for and present (none have been ripped out of the mag!)
ALL pages are clean and free from smells or mildew although I can see slight, light signs of "foxing" on the pages lower edge. Foxing is created when paper reacts with the environment over time, slowly the paper shifts colour from white to yellow to brown.
To maintain the condition of this single issue, I have now sealed the magazine within clear plastic
