1936 British Empire wall hanging calendar

A historical year, when King Edward VIII abdicated to marry the American Wallis Simpson, BBC began their first television broadcasts, Hitler was humiliated by Jesse Owens completely outclassing Hitler's "Ayran Supermen" - Hitler's nationalistic pride and joy. It was also in this year that Germany, Italy and Japan formed an alliance just prior to the beginning of World War II in 1939.

CONDITION:

Other than the pages mentioned above that are missing, overall this 85 year old calendar is in very good condition with most pages being very clean.

February (first two weeks) is slightly soiled (mildew spots) but this is not really bad.

Rear heavy cardboard cover which supports all the pages has a small tear and has taken on a typical yellow look from "foxing" - foxing is the cosmetic effect of oxygen on the paper material, over time it turns the paper material a yellow/brown colour.

Since the passing of my grandparents, this calendar has always been kept sealed in protective plastic (it's not as though it would be of any use up on a wall!)
