Cassette packaging is in very good condition and if fact this album was NEW & SEALED but I have taken off the cellowrap to check the contents. Why? This is a "deleted" product which means that a small hole has been intentionally drilled into the spine of the case (this is normal) but I wished to check that no damage had occured to the cassette inside, there is no damage.
In all respects, other than the fact it is no longer sealed, this is new product - played once (for test purposes)
Before playing I repacked the tape (FF to the end - RW to the beginning x 2), and visually inspected carefully the clamshell, rollers and head pressure pad - no issues with the shell or tape at all
I have then played this tape ENTIRELY on both sides, and the audio is crisp & clean and no problems at all with no "drop outs" (on either side) or high frequency loss heard. Frequency response off the tape is wide and I also listened carefully for "tape hiss" at the start of tape, end of tape and between tracks and the level is very very low, and no issues with uneven tape travel through the transport.
