HISTORY:
My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a photographer but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items
SLIK - Monopod
Made in Japan
Model 6007
1985 (purchased in Australia from Fletcher's Fotographics - I still have the receipt!)
Primary material is brushed aluminium with a plastic top section and leg locks
Very strong and stable
Monopod appears to have had very little use at all
Folded: 600mm
Extended fully: 1520mm
Each section securely locks when extended, no sloppiness!
Plastic foot at the base
Carrying weight: 300g
COSMETIC CONDITION:
CLEAN
NO degrading of the plastic locks or the head, including the cork material on the top.
NO marks or scratches to the SLIK labelling on the monopod
Always stored in the original inner plastic bag and the original SLIK outer box. Even the original receipt is inside this box!
Checked the locking tabs, these are working fine and once the monopod length is chosen, there is no movement at all.
ISSUE: I noticed that the plastic carry strap (attached by screw to the head) is broken - I imagine this is not a big deal, easily removeable or replaceable.
