HISTORY:
My professional and private background is all about electronics, audio and 'The Arts' but I was NOT really into photography!
Over the years, I have gathered together a bunch of strange film camera's and accessories (some are odd looking) and they have been sitting in a large plastic container under the house, with the lid on of course.
I am BIG on sustainability and I am hoping very much that someone else may find a use for these lens filters and have described them to the best of my abilities.
I am not an expert on this equipment or these filters, PLEASE read the description below completely and decide if this item may be of interest to you.
UNIDENTIFIED MANUFACTURER - Camera Filter
Type: SKY
Size: 37mm screw on
The manufacturer is unidentified on the packaging or the rim of the lens
The lens has only the following printed in White on the rim
SKY 37MM
I believe these are NEW but of course, very old stock ... it's a long story but quite a while back I had a client who paid me in goods instead of a monetary exchange. Times were tough for the photographic retailer and sadly they ended up "closing shop" completely.
This filter was one of the many accessories that I ended up with.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW Old Stock
CLEAN (packaging and filter)
Some glue residue on one side of the box from the previous retail pricing sticker
Package is sealed on one side but can be opened on the other side - I have opened it to inspect the lens inside
THE LENS:
Sits inside a clear "screw type" lens protector, one side has a soft padding for the lens.
I held the lens (carefully by the outer rim) up to the light (both sides) and looked for "spotting" or any scratching - I can see NONE AT ALL
To ensure no-one else mishandles this lens and it remains in this condition, I have now sealed the lens packaging within clear plastic and this is how it will be supplied.
