F.B Rogers Creamer Jug
Silver plated (Grade unknown)
Most likely 1970's ~ 1980's
Stamped into the base is:
TRADE MARK
(CROWN GRAPHIC)
18 & 83 (on either side)
F.B. ROGERS SILVER CO.
Creamer Jug measures: 80mm diameter (widest point) x 73mm high
I suspect we used to have a lid for this creamer jug, now it is MISSING AND NOT SUPPLIED
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NO physical damage
Silver lustre is high
NO signs of base metal show-through
Not perfect though, I can see a couple of very light "scuff" or discolouration marks near and underneath the handle. These are not major but can be noticed if looking very closely at the jug.
Bowl is clean, unstained and it is very important to keep accessories such as this clean after each use using non-toxic cleaning such as the Bi-Carb method.
Silverware always has the oxidisation/tarnishing issue over time, so to reduce this to a minimum I have now placed this creamer jug within sealed plastic to reduce the amount of contact with "air" reducing the period of time between cleans.
