Trio (Square Cake Plate - Saucer - Tea Cup)

The design is very beautiful and eye-catching but understated, predominately pink which exudes dainty femininity.

Small flowers such as a daisy, white/yellow petals (rays) and an orange/red centre (disk or eye)

It is easy to determine that this was hand-painted by both touch and a close examination. You can feel the paint, particularly in the flower centres and looking closely you can see inconsistencies in the painting of the flowers and foliage - absolutely hand-painted

Absolutely NO cracks

Absolutely NO fleabites

NO crazing (wet tested to be sure of this)

No wear to the artwork, even on the tea cup handle

The makers backstamp dates the trio as being from 1906 onwards, we believe this was made somewhere between 1906 and 1930 (1930's there was a change of backstamp with the words Fine Bone China added)
