Yellow primrose flowers with foliage, these are also called common primrose or English primrose. They are typically have pale yellow flowers but also pink and white varieties can be found.
Brilliant white porcelain base which is patterned/textured
No gold gilding has been used, the outer rim is a lime green
Translucent (you can see through the china when held to a light)
Circa period of 1938 ~ 1966 (based on the backstamp design)
Dimensions: 157mm x 157mm
Spattered or Feathered Gold gilding on the outer scalloped edge

There is also the works artist mark (brown), these marks were used to identify the workers "pieces" as they were paid "per piece" not by the hour!
CONDITION:
Good condition
I have given this side plate a DLAT rating of 7/10 because of one tiny flaw ... read below please
NO cracks
NO crazing
NO damage to the artwork
NO wear to the lime green rim decoration
NO fleabites HOWEVER underneath, right on the rim is a tiny little chip (it cannot be seen from the top side) and it is for this reason that I moved my personal rating from 10/10 down to 7/10
Overall this remains a very good example of some lovely Shelleyware
