ROYAL WORCESTER Pin Dish (Some refer to this as a butter pat dish)
Post 1966 (based on the backstamp used - Royal Worcester had a very intricate system of dating but ceased using this from 1966 onwards)
'Torquay' White Rose Floral Design
Hand Painted (?) (we had a number of these dishes and each is slightly differently decorated from another BUT the absence of the artist ID marks underneath may indicate this was actually transferware)
100mm diameter
Gold gilding to the top edge
NO cracks
NO chips or fleabites
NO crazing
NO discolouration
Close inspection of the artwork shows a couple of very light "knife scratches" so this dish was most likely used as a "butter pat" dish at one time.
These dishes were originally sold as "giftware" in very attractive dark blue presentation boxes - we DO NOT have the box any longer unfortunately
