Small Blue flowers with grey foliage
NO Gold gilding - there never has been any on this design
NO cracks
NO discolouration except a light "scratching" of the deeper blue outer ring in one section - very minor
NO fleabites
NO crazing
It is extremely difficult to date original Royal Stafford but the design of the backstamp suggests this item (in common with many of the other pieces we have) are circa 1950's. Hand decorated, use of the crown graphic and Made In England (later backstamps only have England) and the factory artist ID marks, used so that they get paid for their completed work!
