HISTORY:
Part of our large Burgundy design tableware setting which has found a new home to live in, however the new owner did not need this butter dish so this butter dish now sits here all alone, an orphaned piece of Burgundy! We believe it would love to join another setting that someone may have where the butter dish has been damaged/

Circa 1959 - 1981 (actually closer to the late 1970's ~ early 80's for this piece as that is when we purchased the entire dinner set)
Decoration: transferware
Design: Burgundy - edge border of Green & Brown foliage with a Platinum decorated gilding to the rim.
Backstamp details
NO chips
NO cracks
NO crazing evident (Dry & Wet testing)
NO discolouration
NO damage or wear to the Platinum edge guilding
Just a couple of very light knife cut marks to the central glazing - this dish had been used afterall!
