Fine China
Translucent, which means if held to the light you can see the shadow of your fingers through the china
The transferware artwork comprises three groups of roses with purple foliage.
Scalloped rim of the side plate has a continous heavily applied gold gilding
Diameter: 160mm
Backstamp is coloured
The reference to 1961 in the backstamp is NOT the year of manufacture but this was the period that Allied English Potteries changed the name to Royal Albert Ltd.

There are no artist marks but there is two "dabs" of the Gold paint on the underside, not sure if these are an accident at the works or intentional by the guilder (they don't appear to be guilder's markings)
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NO fleabites or chips
NO discolouration
NO damage to the decoration
NO wear showing to the gold gilding
Note my comment above though, there are two "dabs" of metallic Gold on the underside of the plate.
