FINE BONE
CHINA
MADE IN
ENGLAND
Artists marks are clearly visible on both pieces, these were very important to the artist as they were paid "per piece" completed
CONDITION:
SAUCER:
NO cracks
NO discolouration
NO crazing
NO wear to the hand painted design
Some light to medium handling wear to the gold gilding on the top edge
TEACUP:
NO chips
NO discolouration
NO crazing
NO fleabites or chips
NO wear to the hand painted design but I can see a couple of tiny "dots or spots" where the artist has accidently touched the china with the tip of their brush - adds to the hand painted authenticity!
Only very light handling wear to the gold gilding on the top rim and also the second ring of gilding inside the teacup
A small 'blemish" inside the bowl, on the bottom, it is not a chip but feels "raised" and I cannot remove this mark (it looks to have been a potter's defect)
This is a very nice "dainty" teacup set with subdued colouring, quite attractive.
