Depression glass (??) - green very similar looking to "Depression Glass" but we are not sure
Gold gilded top rim
Deep scalloped edges
Base has 8 green glass "buttons" for feet
Measurement: 15cm (6 inches) diameter - medium sized
CONDITION:
Examined very carefully
NO cracks
NO chips
NO marking
Gold gilding is in extremely good condition, a couple of the little "bumps" along the scalloping seem to have light wear to the gold gilding but this is extremely minimal.
Very attractive piece for display or for sweets/candies
HISTORY:
We describe this as "depression glass" - it is in that style, with a light green but we have no UV source light to check it.
We bought this about 30 years ago from a second hand store and they knew nothing about its history - we just loved the look of it in the centre of the dining table full of sweets!
