Perhaps you have never heard of 'Whatever It Takes', the British charity organisation with the aim of working with leaders to assist and encourage a generation of influencers to take ownership, engage in positive action, raise awareness among their communities, and champion the solutions to poverty and environmental degradation.
They have gathered over 700 leaders: royalty, Nobel Peace Prize laureates, business leaders, actors, musicians, artists, fashion designers, sportsmen and sportswomen and writers to endorse their products, artwork and music for the purposes of fund raising to finance their cause.

Made in China
Churchill was actually formed in 1795, producing earthenware initially and they became very well known for their hotelware. The famous 'Blue Willow' pattern was first produced by this company in 1818.
As often happens with the English pottery works, manufacturing went offshore, this plate having been made in China by Churchill

Unfortunately the artist is NOT credited - we bought this presentation plate because of the plate design, we love sunflowers (see our other Sunflower design HERE)

PACKAGING:
Overall, good condition - I have not used the description of very good because the top of the cardboard packaging has some light scuff marks after being stored in the display cabinet.
Corners are all secure
Elastic used to hold the plate inside the packaging is in very good condition
Inside (underneath the plate) is a small 8 page booklet which details every plate produced in the series along with photographs (8 of them) if anyone was interested in putting the set together
Since we are now finding this item a new home, it has been sealed in cellowrap to ensure the condition is maintained (dust free etc)
