ARTWORK HISTORY:
Our family is very much into "the Arts" in all it's forms, from music to creative art to chinaware and even classic old (quality) technology!
Our focus has always been landscapes, both Australian and New Zealand but over the years we have gathered far too many and new homes must be found for our "excess" artworks.
This original oil is a painting that we picked up when living in the Eastern Suburbs a number of years ago. Centennial Parklands is one place that must be visited if you are in that part of town, relaxing and tranquil. Almost 900 acres near Sydney city centre, a little oasis in the middle of the crowded "big smoke".
Our interest in the artwork is of course the landscape, the trees, the water and the Vernon Pavillion is a popular spot to just rest and contemplate nature.
We liked the colours used, bright and vibrant - a contrast to the concrete jungle of city life.
Sadly, we have used the external frame for another artwork so this painting is offered WITHOUT any external frame - these are not hard to find if you hunt around the Op shops or sometimes even on the street!
Another of our cherished artworks which sadly must now leave home!

U. KERTZ:
We have absolutely no idea who the artist is! For us, it doesn't matter - we buy art for art's sake, not because of the name.
We suspect the artist is an amateur, taking leisure from creating art for others to enjoy. It depends why someone is purchasing art, for the visual experience, thought provoking perhaps or some just purely because of the name signed on the artwork.
CONDITION:
Artwork is clean
NO issues with flaking or paint cracking.
NO artwork damage observed
NO issues with artwork discolouration
