Australian release
Cover is in very good condition, no writing, no seam splits, clean and unmarked but this was provided to the station as an industry sample and has a sticker on the rear indicating this.
New inner plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see NO marks or scratches on either side - I don't think this ever made the "radio playlist"! I always play the vinyl I am offering, you cannot make a reliable judgement of the condition just by looking at your piece of plastic! I then played the ENTIRE release, both sides, and there are NO issues at all with surface noise or click/pops
SPECIAL NOTE: Side B "Fire" appears to be recorded at EXTREMELY low levels so any surface noise does become more apparent. I personally don't like this version of FIRE very much, too much clowning around and "chit-chat" almost as though the recording is an afterthought, something to "fill up the record" Disappointing in my own view
New outer protective plastic sleeve
Both tracks are covers, the original songwriter and performing artists previous to these versions is indicated in brackets below
Tracks: Melting Pot (Roger Cook and performed by Blue Mink), Fire (Bruce Springsteen and performed previously by many artists)
ORIGINAL VERSION 20 YEARS EARLIER
