UK/Irish band, very well known for their hit I Don't Like Monday's - Bob Geldof was the frontman.
A pretty quirky rock album from Boomtown Rats, a good example is the song Sleep (Fingers' Lullaby)

Cover is in excellent condition
New inner plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in good condition, inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see a few light scratches or marks and some light leeching from a previous inner liner. The only way to really tell the record condition is to play it! So I played the ENTIRE album and overall it is a very good play
EXCEPT
Side A Track 2: this is one dodgy track! Just after it begins, a light "scratching" noise and then some serious mistracking! I have examined the vinyl really carefully (after multiple cleans in the VPI machine) and I cannot see anything really significant causing this problem - perhaps something spilled into the grooves once, there a mark that looks a little like a liquid spill and there are a few scratches but they don't look too bad - looks can be deceptive with vinyl.
In any case, THE REMAINING TRACKS ON BOTH SIDES ARE FINE in fact they play very well! Just "Diamond Smiles" is not going to play properly.
It may be worth noting that I intentionally use very light styli pressure, if your system has a higher pressure then perhaps this track will play fine.
