Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

This is one of my treasured vinyls (but abused)  from when I grew up in New Zealand

I am hoping this vinyl will find it's way to someone who also appreciates historically significant or simply great New Zealand music.

This vinyl was last played about 30 years ago (until today)

My background is technical, particularly relating to the professional music/audio industry and because of this I give a LOT of detail about what I am offering.

Prior to advertising this vinyl, it has had a standard wet wash & vacuum and dry.

The vinyl is first visually inspected and then played ENTIRELY. None of this "played the first 30 seconds" stuff, what good is that!

Visual inspections can be deceptive, the only real way to judge a record is to actually play the whole record entirely (unless still sealed of course)

In 1975 a bunch of Dunedin based musicians get together and created the wildly successful Mother Goose.

Crazy dressers but during this period of the 1970's a number of bands followed the "dress sense" to make themselves stand out from the crowded music market e.g Split Enz, Zoot etc

Gatefold cover is in good condition although showing obvious signs of wear from handling. Primarily wear marks across the graphics on the front and rear. All seams are good, spine is good and inside is very clean. Inner printed sleeve has light mildew spots on it - I have stabilised and sterilised it now. No writing on any part, no tears.

New plastic inner sleeve

Vinyl is in good (minus) condition, inspected under a white halogen light source, I can see a large number of scratches varying from very light to light and scuff marks on both sides but none appear to be likely to cause serious problems. Vinyl surface remains shiny not dull.

I then played both sides entirely, and absolutely there is an underlying surface noise of a low to medium level throughout the album. Clicks/pops are present but not terribly loud and absolutely no almighty thumps or mistracking! After 40 years and a lot of play, this vinyl still sounds GREAT!

New outer protective plastic sleeve

Tracks: Moonshine Lady, Somebody Broke My Heart, Last Of The Fools, One Day You'll Be Sorry Anne-Marie, Land Ho!, See If I Care, Only You, Only A Phonecall Away, Baked Beans
