THIS ALBUM HAS A COUPLE OF ISSUES RELATING TO CLICKS (NOT SERIOUS BUT NOTICEABLE)
ALICE COOPER - Welcome To My Nightmare
Anchor Records
Cat# ANCLA.2011
1975
Australian release
Cover is in good condition, no writing, no seam splits, no tears with only light edge wear from handling. Includes the inner single sheet insert.
New inner plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in good (minus) condition, inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see just a couple of light scratches/marks on either side. Just taking a look is not good enough to judge a record so I then played the album ENTIRELY, both sides all tracks, and overall the surface noise is only slightly higher level than normal but I did hear a couple of medium level click events...
Side A Track 1 about mid-way there is a short "burst" of noise where a mark is on the vinyl and the track then continues on with a low level click persisting until almost the end of this first track.
Side B Track 1 just after the run-in there is a couple of medium level click/pops then no more until Track 2 when the same sort of thing happens, medium level clicks for a short period and then they fade away .... no other click/pop events noticed. This is still a very enjoyable blast from the past regardless of those clicks!
New outer protective sleeve
Tracks: Welcome To My Nightmare, Devil's Food, The Black Widow, Some Folks, Only Woman Bleed, Department Of Youth, Cold Ethyl, Years Ago, Steven, The Awakening, Escape
The outstanding Black Widow with the creepy Vincent Price narrating (long before he narrated Thriller for Michael Jackson)
