Gatefold cover is in good minus condition, obvious yellowing/mildew marks to ALL areas, front rear and inside. Stabilised, cleaned and there is NO smells! These marks occurred a long time ago. With the obvious poor storage, ALL SEAMS ARE FINE, NO TEARS, no writing on the outside cover. Complete with inner printed sleeve.
A great candidate for a replacement cover, although this may be difficult to find due to the different NZ catalogue number, country of manufacture and even the circle on the front top left (not a sticker, printed as part of the graphics) is limited to Australia/NZ as far as I can tell.
Black/Blue CBS label
Previous owner has hand written their details on the Side 1 record label and INSIDE the rear page of the gatefold jacket - name has been obscured for privacy.
New inner plastic sleeve
You may think "oh the cover is not good, so the vinyl hasn't been looked after" - not so, the vinyl is VERY good, a great listen.
Vinyl is in very good condition, inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see a few of very light/short scratches on each side. I then played the entire album and the surface noise isn't of any concern at all - even during very quiet passages. The occasional click/pop at at low level. Great frequency range, especially the very low frequency synth during "Shine On You Crazy Diamond Parts 1 - V" - sounds fantastic!
