Benjamin Hugg is credited with coming from the Melbourne area although this album was recorded at Trafalgar Studios in Sydney.
The cover photograph is of a Curios and Antique shop reflected in the pawn shop window, the sign is a reflection so if you read it with a mirror .. it says Curios and Antiques City Square, so I am guessing this photograph was taken in Melbourne.
Benjamin apparently started out as a folk singer and although I have seen this album described elsewhere as pop rock, I have actually listened to all the songs and this is definitely very psych rock/country rock and so very 70's in his sound - it's actually really good. Funky guitar, synth playing and this album screams out rock, its a far cry from his early folk days.
Unfortunately Benjamin passed away in the mid eighties.
