Elton John - Caribou

Australian release
Gatefold cover is in good (minus) condition, no tears, no writing but has been previous spine damage for which a tape repair has been applied. This repair is now very aged and I have no attempt to remove this old tape and replace with a new repair - more damage is likely. As it is, the spine is stable and sound so I guess that is what really matters. Top right corner shows some "chew" signs to the cover and on the front lower right it looks like a small amount of graphic damage, possibly snails! So overall the cover isn't too bad but it does have these imperfections, actually not bad after almost 50 years!
New inner plastic sleeves
Vinyl is in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see a couple of very light ~ light scratches on each side of each record, nothing terrible but I can see them. Just visually inspecting any vinyl record is not good enough so I then played the ENTIRE album, every track on both records, and there are no significant issues with surface noise or click/pops - yes the occasional low level click but nothing dramatic. Nice one Elton...
