Cliff Richard was a ground breaker in UK rock n roll originally, pre Beatles era. Considered at the time (late 1950's and 1960's) as a rebel, often compared to Little Richard and Elvis Presley. He "softened up" in later years, performing mainstream pop.
This was his 4th album release, accompanied by The Shadows or The Norrie Paramor Orchestra or The Bernard Ebbinghouse Band. Tracks on this album were covers of popular 1940's 1950's songs
