Formed by David Coverdale of Deep Purple. The band began by writing/playing in a similar musical style to Deep Purple (blues rock) then moved into the world of glam hard rock. This album has fragments of blues hanging around in the songs but the focus is on big hard hitting glam rock with a vocal technique that sounds very similar to Axl Rose

Cover is in very good condition, no tears, no writing and very light edge wear due to handling but there is a light vinyl shaped ring on the front cover from constant removal/insertion in the record library (this is ONE very good album)

Vinyl is in very good condition. Visually inspected under a white halogen light source and I can only see a couple of very light marks/scratches. I then played the album (once again) ENTIRELY and there are no significant issues with surface noise or clicks/pops - great rock!
