Cover is in very good condition, very light edge handling wear only. No tears, no writing on the cover.
Previous owner has hand written their details on the Side 1 record label and INSIDE the cover jacket - name has been obscured for privacy.

Vinyl is in good - very good condition, inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see a few of very light/short scratches on each side. I then played the entire album and although the surface noise isn't very high, it is more than I expected. I suspect this vinyl needs more cleaning, deep cleaning. For the most part the surface noise is not an issue BUT due to the wide dynamic range of this recording (sometimes extremely quiet and then suddenly very loud) during the quiet passages I can hear the "signal to noise" ratio become an audible problem - a good example is the excellent song The Final Sound which begins at extremely low levels (and surface noise is noticeable) then once Robert gets past the intro the audio is much higher level and no longer can you hear the surface noise.
One spot I was dismayed at hearing and then finding what looks to be some sort of "drop" onto the vinyl on Side 2 between track 1 & 2. Now this does NOT cause mistracking but you will hear a low frequency "thump thump" for around 2 seconds duration, no music information is lost during this time, just this "thump thump" along with the music. It is not of a high audio level but it is there. I looked closely with a microscope and don't believe any amount of cleaning will fix this problem.
I found NO OTHER ISSUES like this on the entire album.
Overall, this remains a really excellent play with low level surface noise (most of the time)
