This is a NZ pressing
UK punk artist (Mean Street & Tubeway Army) who then went on to a solo career. He was also accompanied by his close friend, Paul Gardiner (Bass) throughout the punk era and also on this album. Sadly Paul passed away from a drug overdose at just 26 years old.
This release is just a bit peculiar, for these reasons:
Gary Numan was signed to Beggars Banquet
The album cover and inner printed sleeve refer only to Beggars Banquet
HOWEVER the record label is Atlantic, marketing by WEA Records but no mention of Beggars Banquet on the record label
There is also an error on the rear of the inner printed sleeve (lyric page). The first song lyrics (Airlane) have been completely omitted, lyrics begin with Metal.
I have checked the record itself, track 1 is definitely Airlane followed by Metal.

New inner plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in good condition, inspected each record under a white halogen light source and I can see a number of very light/light scratches on each side. I then played the entire album. surface noise is not a significant issue -some low level click/pop at times but these are not frequent and this album is a very good play.
