Robert Maxwell was a harpist and songwriter
I am sorting through yet another box of test pressings, white label pre-production vinyl's and I have come across this interesting vinyl.
In our audio post production facilities we received a LOT of vinyl releases from the labels or even direct from the artists but I don't recall how we came by this copy.
It is a white label product with only the most basic information printed on both sides of the record label - a pre-production test pressing.
It did get damp at some stage as there is some light mildew spotting on the paper label, particularly Side 1
The record label COMMAND makes sense (their label), this album was released through that record label but the catalogue number is a big unknown (NDL 32278)
This album "Anytime" was only released in USA and UK so I have no idea how we ended up with it, perhaps amongst the masses of UK dance we often got sent to us!
Strange thing is the vinyl material, this album was released in the 1966~1967 period but this vinyl looks and feels much more like a 1970's ~ 80's release (early vinyl is distinctly "harder" and less flexible)
The maxtrix run-out codes don't seem to shed much light on the origins although they do suggest this may have been a test press of the RS 33-913 release, this being a US test pressing from 1967
Anyway, here are the details of this test pressing

Generic white record label cover is in very good condition, no seam splits, no writing, no tears.
New inner plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can only see a couple of very light scratches on the each side, but just looking at a piece of vinyl really isn't good enough. I then played both sides of this release ENTIRELY, absolutely no significant issues with surface noise or clicks/pops on either side. A really nice play!
NOTE: I was surprised at this music, expecting some terrible "dated" jazz from the 1960's but this is really really good music - very nice relaxing jazz based on harp, trumpet, drums etc
New outer plastic protective sleeve
The following track titles have been copied from the album I believe this is a test pressing of (USA release 1967 RS 33-913)
Tracks: I'm Gonna Sit Right Down (And Write Myself A Letter), I'll Never Smile Again, Any Time, Smile, Seems Like Old Times, Bye Bye Blues, Sing Sing Sing, I Can't Give You Anything But Love, Coquette, I'll Be Seeing You, Charmaine, The Sheik Of Araby
