An album for people who's right hemisphere of their brain is very active!
This is one VERY STRANGE album ... but it certainly is far removed from your normal music, so if you would like to hear real creativity and some seriously different philosophies of the human condition then this album is a MUST!
This was recorded in 1962 and for the time, extremely "different" - many consider this to be one of the first psychedelic music recordings.
Alan Watts was a British philosopher, writer, speaker, and student of comparative religion who passed away in 1973. He was best known as an interpreter and popularizer of Asian philosophies for a Western audience.
Persons/Musicians contributing to this album:
Alan Watts - Incantations
Roger Somers - Drums, Chanting
Leah Ananda - Conga drums
Joel Andrews - Falsetto and Evocations
William Loughborough - Bass Marimb, Lujon
Something "just a little bit different", from a man who once said
"No one is more dangerously insane than one who is sane all the time, he is like a steel bridge without flexibility and the order of his life is rigid and brittle.
If our sanity is to be strong and flexible, there must be periods for the expression of completely spontaneous movement - dancing, singing, howling, babbling, jumping, groaning, wailing ....."
If this sort of thinking intrigues you, add in some nonsensical spoken word, strange instrumentals and this is an album that you will find VERY interesting.

Vinyl is in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see NO scratches/marks on either side. I then played the ENTIRE album, every single track, there are no issues with surface noise or click/pops. To be honest, my head was totally fried after listening to this album once again, something akin to having been in a psych ward for too long! Very dramatic/spacey ending on Side 2
Supplied in new outer protective plastic sleeve
