These are recordings made between 1955 ~ 1957
Rear of the cover deals with the technical aspects of the recordings made including the fact the recording was made using an Ampex stereo tape recorder (Frequency response 10Hz ~ 30Khz) then tranferred to disc with a Neumann lathe with Teldec cutting head utilising RIAA equalisation. Pressed using virgin vinyl in an unnamed process which removes surface noise and distortion ... and on it goes. Pretty obviously proud of the "cutting edge" techniques used at this time, in the late 1950's

Heavy card cover is in good (minus) condition. No writing, no tears but two seam splits - the spine and top edge.
New inner plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see some light marks/scratches on either side. Just looking at the vinyl is not a good way to judge the condition so I then played the album ENTIRELY, every single track, and there are no significant issues with surface noise or clicks/pops although there are a couple of times where there is a low ~ medium level click/pop or two but these are not of long duration. Overall a very cool album!
Tracks: At A Perfume Counter, Lyons Busy, Purple Moon,
