JIM MCLEOD'S - Jazz Tracks 2
ABC Records
Cat# 846 223-1
1990
Australian release
Cover is in good condition, no seam splits, no writing and very little edgewear from handling although there is a couple of marks/small spot damage to the front cover from careless retail label removal.
New inner clear plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light and I can see a couple very light ~ light scratches/scuff marks on either side. Just taking a look at the vinyl doesn't cut it so I then played the ENTIRE album, every single track, there are no significant issues with surface noise or clicks/pops. Yes, the surface noise is slightly more elevated than "normal" and there are a couple of tracks with a light ~ medium click/pop (short duration) but overall the album is still a very good play.
PIANIST - TRACKS:
Kenny Powell playing Yamaha C7 Piano
I'll Take Romance, It's You Or No One
Ted Nettlebeck playing Steinway Model D
Sophisticated Lady, 2-4-5
Mike Nock playing Steinway Model D
I Fall In Love Too Easily, Snowy Morning Blues
Andy Vance playing Steinway Model D
In The Wilderness
Roger Frampton playing Steinway Model D
Encounter With A Grand Piano
Further basic bio information about each artist is on the rear cover of the album
I found it a bit hard to source some video/audio of these artists performing but here is a much later performance (2019) showing Ted Nettlebeck playing at the Adelaide Fringe Festival
