This is NOT that Bobby Brown who married Whitney Houston and made the news headlines frequently, for all the wrong reasons.
Bobby Brown was an electronic, psychedelic hippy folk rock artist from the 70's
Bobby is shown on the front cover opening for Fleetwood Mac & Kenny Loggins at the University Of California, Berkley.
His original intention was to use this performance as his source recording for the album but the audience noise was far too high so he separately recorded the songs at a nearby beach! That is the reason for the beach photographs on the rear cover.
Bobby released his debut album in 1972 and signed many copies and often included his "trademark" smiley face. While I do not have a certificate of authenticity, I am very happy to state that this album has a genuine signing from Bobby - I have included a photograph of a signing Bobby did on his debut album and the two signings are extremely similar in character flow, words used and his "mannerisms"

Vinyl is in very good condition, inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see a few very light scratches and light "marks" which look to be a liquid splash some time in the past. I cleaned the vinyl thoroughly (wet wash plus VPI vacuum clean) and then played the entire album. Surface noise is not a significant issue and there is just the occasional low level click at times. Perhaps the most difficult song to hear the intro is on Side B, the first song "Waterfall Of Love". Bobby has a spoken intro and I found it difficult to hear what he was saying, the voice level is so low and almost like he is mumbling! But this is only for around 15 seconds and then he gets into his strange vibe.
Wow! this is pretty freaky stuff and what a versatile voice! I can see why many online talk about Bobby and how he was streaks ahead of his time with such innovative music and lyrics. I also believe that many of the electronic instruments he restored himself and then played them in his live performance - the true one man band.
