Dumisani Abraham Maraire was a vocalist, composer and performer of the mbira, a traditional instrument of the Shona ethnic group of Zimbabwe. Often he was simply referred to as "Dumi" and he was the principal importer of Shona musical culture into the United States during the 1970’s & 80’s.

Heavy cardboard cover is in good condition, no tears, no seam splits and barely any edge wear only. An overall slightly "grubby" look due to the light background colouring and there is a mark on the front opening edge from a rusted paper clip!

New inner plastic liner sleeve

Vinyl media is in good condition, inspected visually and both sides look very clean although there are a few very light - light scratches/marks.

I then played the entire record (both sides), surface noise level is a little higher than "normal" but is not a distraction while playing - only audible during the non-music peridos between tracks and at the lead-in/lead-out areas. Good play and good music.

New outer protective plastic sleeve
