1981

Philippines release

Cover is in very good condition, no writing, no tears, no seam splits.

New plastic inner sleeve is supplied

Vinyl is in very good condition visually, inspected under a white halogen light source and I can only see a couple of very light scratches on each side. HOWEVER, to my horror when I placed it on the turntable, it has a warp!!!

At some stage someone left this near a heat source and the outer edge has a "wave" and this is obvious as the tonearm rides the "wave" when rotating. Fortunately the wave has gradual rise and fall, so the tonearm rides it nicely.

I played this record on a couple of my test turntables and NO MIS-TRACKING OCCURRED - All songs play fine (and without strange thumps etc) but the visuals of the record being played are a bit disconcerting!

I have seen some record shops offering "de-warping" services but I have never used this service and would be very cautious about doing so - but then again, Ric Cayabyab is one of the Flilipino greats and it could be worth the trouble to look into "de-warping"

So, just to make it clear, ALL tracks play fine on both sides - but the record has a wave for sure!!!

I played both sides entirely and there are no issues with surface noise or clicks/pops - a really nice playback

Supplied in new outer protective plastic sleeve

Tracks: Bakya Mo Neneng, Mamang Kutsero, Hindi Kita Malimot, Saan Ka Man Naroroon, Tsismis, Dahil Sa Iyo, Liman-Dipang Tao, Minamahal, Sinasamba, Maalaala Mo Kaya, Kay Ganda Ng Ating Musika

And just for a bit of fun, here is Ryan Cayabyab with the very upbeat, non-sensical song "Tsismis"

Condition exactly as described Non-returnable used product
