Very hard to find release from Argentina (genuine official product)
The Jacksons - Triunfo (Triumph)
Epic Records
Cat# 47.241
1980
Argentinian release
Cover is in good condition, light handling wear to the front cover, edges are all fine, no seams splits, no writing
Record cover and labels are bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
Record label on each side is faded, at first this looked like someone had been excessive when washing the vinyl but I believe it is the inks used in printing - even with a medium rub of a cloth, the red comes off! Fair condition on the record labels
New inner plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in good condition, inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see quite a few light marks or scratches on both sides. I have cleaned the vinyl a couple of times but it still may require more. Visually it looks fine, with just a few light scratches but nothing major however on playback (see below) I can still hear higher than normal levels of surface noise.
I then played both sides of this album, overall it is a pretty good play - the all important "Can You Feel It" is certainly fine. Side 1 has lower surface noise than Side 2. Just the very occasional click/pop on either side - nothing dramatic and certainly NO mistracking!
Side 2 definitely has a slightly higher level of surface noise, suggesting there is still dirt in the grooves - visually it looks fine. I have given this album two wash-wash/vacuum treatments and the problem is greatly reduced but not removed.
New outer protective sleeve
Tracks: Can You Feel It (Puedes Sentirlo), Lovely One (Amorosa), Your Ways (Tus Modos), Everybody (Todos), Heartbreak Hotel (Hotel De Los Corazones Destrozados), Times Waits For No One (El Tiempo No Espera Por Nadie), Walk Right Now (Camina Ahora), Give It Up (Abandonalo), Wondering Who (Adivinando Quien)
Market asking price for this hard to find Argentinian release is A$60 plus but due to the vinyl condition, dramatically lowered asking price
