Debut album (in fact the only album!) from Pure Energy - very upbeat disco beats from

Lisa Stevens - Vocals

Curtis Hudson - Guitar, Vocals

Raymond Hudson - Bass, Vocals

Chart, club successes with "You've Got The Power", "Breakaway" and "Love Game" - particularly noticeable is the wonderful vocals from Lisa, she is a very good singer.

Curtis and Lisa wrote the song "Holiday" which was a big success for Madonna

Cover is in good condition, no tears, no writing, no seam splits but a few brown "mildew" spots on the front cover in particular. Notice the top right hand corner diagonal cut, this indicates a "deletion" product, sent back to the distributor for various reasons ranging from lack of sales to product recalls by the label. These deletions are actually really good to have, the music is often very good (but perhaps not appreciated at the time) and very difficult to find because most were removed from circulation.

Vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source, I can see only a couple of very light scratches/marks on either side. I then played the ENTIRE album, every single track, and I then noticed a slight warping which is most noticeable on Side B. My test SL-Q300 had no issues riding this warp, which is quite gentle, but it is definitely not perfectly flat. Side A exhibits far less of this problem. On playback the surface noise is not a problem and there were no issues with click/pops. Good solid 80's disco music

Tracks: Party On, You & Me, What Are You In The Mood For?, You've Got The Power, When You're Dancin', Come Closer
