Perhaps you have seen my other albums, Indian/Hindustani based music? I have an interest in ALL music and how one culture influences anothers music and Shanti is a perfect example of this.
Shanti members:
Ashish Khan - Sarod
Zakir Hussain - Tabla, Dholak & Naal
Neil Seidel (Gary Lewis & The Playboys) - Lead guitar
Steve Haehl (The Travel Agency) - Lead vocals & guitar
Steve Leach - Vocals & Bass
Frank Lupica - Drums
Very psychedelic folk rock with a strong Indian influence both in the instruments played and the rhythms. West meets East, it was a big thing back in the 1960's ~ 1970's with groups such as The Beatles (and the members) seeking new sounds, new meanings .... this is one very different but cool album!
This album is all about the music although there are some vocals on a couple of tracks e.g Lord I'm Comin' Round
In my humble opinion, the outstanding track is Shanti, duelling instruments and fantastic drumming!

Thick card cover is in good condition, no seam splits, no writing but there light "grubbiness" to the front cover - that white background shows every little mark from the past 50 years!
New inner clear plastic sleeve
Vinyl is in very good condition, visually inspected and I can see just a couple of very light scratches or marks on either side. I then played both sides ENTIRELY, every single track, and there are no significant issues with surface noise or click/pops, in fact I will go further - this album sounds GREAT! Love this blending of West with East.
New outer protective sleeve
Tracks: We Want To Be Free, Innocence, Out Of Nowhere, Lord I'm Comin' Round, Good Inside, Shanti, I Do Believe
