American Bluegrass and Country Folk singer, performer
Great tales from an artist often referred to as the "Songwriters Songwriter" while others refer to him as a contemporary Mark Twain. His songs (often humourous) provide portraits of despair and loneliness which are contained within his songs - reminded me of the Arlo Guthrie style of story telling, listen closely to the lyrics.
This is NOT one of the many reissues or new releases but an original NZ release, now very difficult to find. Why did Atlantic press in NZ? John toured NZ although the tour was cut short due to John's ill health, he was plagued with health issues in his later life and eventually was "taken" by COVID in 2020.

New Zealand release
Cover is in good condition, no tears, no seam splits, edges have only light (normal) handling wear, no writing but you can see some storage/handling wear to the front and rear cover, not substantial though. The simple, single sheet (printed both sides) of song lyrics is included.
New plastic inner sleeve
Vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source I can see a couple of very light ~ light scratches on either side. However visual inspections can be deceptive so I have played both sides ENTIRELY, every single track, and there are no issues at all with surface noise or clicks/pops.
New outer protective plastic sleeve
TRACKS: Everybody, The Torch Singer, Souvenirs, The Late John Garfield Blues, Sour Grapes, Billy The Bum, The Frying Pan, Yes I Guess They Oughta Name A Drink After You, Take The Star Out Of The Window, The Great Compromise, Clocks And Spoons, Rocky Mountain Time, Diamonds In The Rough
This video is a much later performance from John, 2001 - seems it is difficult to find any video from back in the 1970's of John performing
