Often Country music is set aside as a genre but country music artists are often great story tellers. Remember the line from "The Blues Brothers" after being asked what kind of music the band played, they answer - "Oh we got both kinds of music, country and western" there was nothing else for The Good Ol' Boys!
This album is from two Australian performers (husband and wife) who "speak" through their music about various aspects of life in Australia. Many but not all of the songs were written by Donna-Marie (she also has a very beautiful voice) and the lyrics are quite thought provoking.
