And now for something completely different!

In our audio production days we needed to absorb ALL styles of music, much of which was not your usual Western offering .... this is a great example of a completely different musical style and of course, not a word of English, although on the rear cover there is a short explanation of what the song is about (in English). So just "get with the rhythm" or learn Egyptian!

Cat# SRLP 8174

1972

USA release (Black label version)

Cover is in very good condition, no seam splits, no tears and no significant edge wear at all - just one small "brown spot" on the front cover, top centre area.

New inner plastic sleeve is supplied

Vinyl media is in very good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source I can see just a couple of very light scratches or scuff marks on either side. Just looking at the vinyl is not a good way to judge the vinyl condition so I then played the album ENTIRELY, every single track, and there are NO issues with surface noise and no significant issues clicks/pops (you can hear some clicks on some tracks, buried in the music)

New outer protective plastic sleeve

TRACKS: Mol Kadd Tewela (You Have A Nice Figure), Meta Ushufak (When Will I See You), El Toubah (The Convert), Wah Eshrah Laha (Explain To Her), Habebi E Lasmar (My Dusky Love), Katwek Habebi (My Love's Walk), Zay El Hawa (Like The Air), Enta El Habebi (You Are The Love), Men Golebi (From My Heart), Allah (God), Fakkrouni (Remind Me)

One of our favourite songs but alas I cannot find a video/audio clip online from Mohamed Taha so here is the song Habebi E Lasmar performed by another artist - love this one!

Keep in mind that the version from Mohamed Taha and The Pyramids is more "upbeat and lively" and uses real instruments (not synth), the dominant instrument being the Canun (sort of sounds like a Sitar, brings flashbacks of Indian music!)

USED Exactly as described
