Gatefold cover (heavy weight embossed cardboard with metallic gold print) is in very good condition, no tears, very light edge wear from handling, no writing, spine is stable. Inside is the wonderful 12 page booklet (and record sleeves which are secured to the cover) - fantastic photographs of the band "in action" This booklet does have some light mildew spots "here and there" plus a couple of pages have little "nibbles" on the top edge but overall, this booklet is in great condition.
New plastic inner sleeves
Vinyl is in good (minus) to very good condition, visually examined both records under a white halogen light source and I can only see a couple of very light scratches EXCEPT Record 1 Track 1 run-in area (tonearm poorly handled) where there is a couple of scratches that appear heavier. A visual inspection is just not good enough and I then played the ENTIRE album, both records and all tracks, and the surface noise is not a significant issue and neither are any clicks/pops EXCEPT that very first track.
Record 1 Track 1 (Song For Jeffrey) does have about 3 mistracks!!! These are not great "clomp" sounds but a syllable or two are dropped when Ian is singing. The remainder of the album, both records, plays absolutely fine.
New outer protective plastic sleeve
This album has had some song changes from the "standard release" e.g Locomotive Breath has been replaced by Hymn 43
Tracks: Song For Jeffrey, Love Story, Christmas Song, Living In The Past, Driving Song, Bouree, Sweet Dream, Singing All Day, Teacher, Witches Promise, Alive And Well And Living In, Just Trying To Be, By Kind Permission Of, Dharma For One, Wond'ring Again, Hymn 43, Life Is A Long Song, Up The 'Pool, Dr Bogenbroom, From Later, Nursie
Fantastic song from Jethro Tull
